Spent this past week in The Other Place, attending the Cambridge Summer School of Theology. Carl Trueman, of Westminster Theological Seminary, spoke on "The Person and Work of Christ." Very high quality teaching -- one of the things I gained from the week was a deeper understanding of the "now and not yet" aspects of salvation. Other highlights included:
Evensong at King's College.
Visiting Gonville and Caius, the sister college of Brasenose.
Singing rounds with some of the other students.
Lots of croquet in the garden at Westcott House.
Punting on the Cam.
Late-night Uno tournaments in the common room.
