8th week, Hillary Term:
Enjoyed a wonderful five days with Becca, who visited me in Oxford for her spring break. We wandered through college courtyards, went to evensong at Christ Church, spent an afternoon in Woodstock, shared cream tea with friends from Ebbe's, watched a Gilbert and Sullivan play, and laughed over "Yes Minister." But best of all to me were our conversations, deep and unhurried, as we strolled through picturesque gardens or savoured tea and chocolates in my flat.
